How long does it take to pre-cool refrigerated or freezer packs?

With the pre-cooling infrastructure we recommend, pre-cooling times of 24 hours or less can be realised. Thus, for example, in the case of a delivery per box, two cooling or freezer packs are required per day, which are used alternately.

Can I pre-cool the freezer packs in my freezer storage?

No. The usual temperatures of around -22 °C in a deep-freeze warehouse are not sufficient to freeze the deep-freeze battery. Instead, we recommend our infrastructure specially designed for the pre-cooling of cold accumulators.

Can I pre-cool the cold packs in my freezer storage?

We advise against this (apart from small-scale tests): When freezing the cold packs, large amounts of heat are released, which can lead to an increase in temperature in the cold store. Instead, we recommend our infrastructure specially designed for the pre-cooling of cold packs.

Do I always need 5 freezer packs per box and delivery for frozen food delivery?

In winter and at moderate outdoor temperatures, 3 batteries will often be sufficient. Only at high temperatures in summer is it recommended to use all 5 batteries.

How can I pre-cool the freezer packs?

A temperature of -28 °C or less is required for pre-cooling the freezer packs. We recommend our specially designed cooling infrastructure for short cycle times and high process reliability.
